So let's start with our trip to Utah in May;
We had the pleasure of spending almost two weeks with five of our Grandchildren in May. We really enjoyed having such quality time with them. Oh so fun!
It was a combined work/visit/help trip.
(did you just hear me squeal with delight)
Caiden had a school singing performance that Avery and I attended, it was so cute, he did an awesome job, let me tell you, this Grandma was in heaven.
WARNING; this is not a great video and it may cause motion sickness. (I took it with my small hand held CAMERA, and I had a little one sitting on my lap to boot) He is still oh so cute though.
Addison’s dance recital was absolutely adorable, she looked so, so cute in her little costume, she did an awesome job too, it was in a huge high school auditorium (balcony seating and all) and it was pretty much filled. She didn’t let that bother her, she went out and preformed like a pro. (I was quite surprised, because she is pretty shy) she got a trophy which she thought was oh, so, cool. (sorry, this was the only picture that even half way turned out, I need a better camera) I know a tear just ran down my cheek too.
Addison is the one left back, isn't she adorable, too cute!
First half of the trip we stayed at Hollie’s place, and I tried to help Hollie as much as possible, (poor thing has been so sick with this pregnancy) and give Jared some relief, he is such a sweetheart, he has been so good at helping out and taking over the household chores for her. The kids and I had so much fun, playing, reading, games, played ball, snuggling, hair, It was great.
Addison and Bama playing twister, how FUN.
YES I played, NO, Silly you can not see a picture of me twisted like a pretzel!
Some girl is going to be very lucky someday, look what a good "Daddy" he is going to make, he can vacuum while taking care of the baby too! What a sweetie.
Last part of trip we stayed at Heather’s and we watched the kiddo’s for four fun filled days, while Heather and Jason were off for his little sister’s wedding. (congrats Christy, you made a beautiful bride and you and Dallin are such an adorable couple). We had a blast, the kids were super, super good, Bapa and I were pretty good too! We went to parks, a super neat children’s museum (children’s tree house) we went to a movie, we had wonderful and silly conversations together at dinner time, sitting around the table. We did the hot tub, we read, colored, played, did hair and bedtime prayers, I even played guitar hero for the very first time, I think the kids were fairly impressed, they were very sweet and supportive, telling me that I was doing very good for my first time (sweet). I think one of my favorite things was at night we would all snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie together, what a bunch of love bugs.
Seriously, look at this face
OUR FUN FILLED DAY AT THE TREE HOUSE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
This was a HUGE interactive game, you push a button and the computer asks you a question and then you find the answer on the floor and stand on it, then the computer gives you the answer, we all had fun with this one.
There was pictures of all the Presidents on the wall, we quizzed Blaise on them and he really surprised us, he did really well and knew a lot of them.
Our little artists. Funny story, they were a bit heavy handed with the paint, so when we were ready to leave and go have lunch their art work wasn't dry enough to take, so we said we would go have lunch, then come back and pick up their pictures. So we left, had lunch, then went to target to spend allowance money, then we headed back to pick up the art work, Caiden decides he does not want his, (I think he was excited to go home and play with his newly bought goody) any way, Blaise and I run back in to collect all paintings, well, we search, and we search and we search, we found his and Avery's but Caiden's was no where to be found, we did one final search of the entire area, nope, Caiden's was not there. So when we told him his was gone, he couldn't believe that his was so GOOD that someone wanted to take it home and hang it up on their wall. TOO FUNNY!
Bapa teaching the boys how to play chess!
Caiden taking Bapa on and Blaise putting his new skills to work playing on the large chess game with his cousin.
The Doll Room, every girls play house
We had so much fun here and there was so much to see and do and enter act with, we were there for about 3 hours and we could have stayed even longer, except tummy's were starting to Grumble. I was just amazed how much there was here for the kids to do. Super fun place!
My little Rock Stars!
Being a Grandparent ROCKS!!! Getting to spend some time with the Grandkids ROCKS!!!
It was fun to have time with them, just us, no parents. We had a GREAT TIME!

What good grandparents you are! And that museum looks AWESOME! Wish there were something like that closer to us---we'll just have to go visit Heather and Hollie! =)
Thanks for taking all these pictures while we were gone! I LOVE Caiden's video! And the kids have been begging to go back to Tree House! They loved it there! We love you!
What an awesome museum. Looks like a big playground. How fun to spend so much time with the grandkids. Addison looks like a professional already. Look at her stance and posture in her dance pictures...she's perfect. Like a little doll. They're all so adorable.
Fun times! That tree house looks awesome. We've never been there, we'll have to go sometime soon.
So glad you guys were able to come up. Addison was so excited you were able to see her dance. At least ONE of your pictures turned out, none of mine did.
