25 FAVORITE MEMORIES OF DAD

My Dad was such an Amazing Man.
I learned so MUCH from him.
He just had that Special Something, and anyone who ever knew him felt it.
He was a true Family Man, who always put his Family first.
He was such a Dedicated and Loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
He was the perfect role model.
He lived his life to the fullest without ever really a complaint.
He loved Sports, Westerns, and his Milk.
He was a man of many Hats, Literally and Figuratively.
He Worked Hard and Played Hard.
He had an innate way of finding Joy in the Simple things in Life.

Cute picture.
I LOVE THIS MAN!!! I know that no one is perfect but he sure came as close as humanly possible. I don't think anyone ever had a bad thing to say about him.

I get so sad sometimes that he didn't get to stay around longer and that my kids don't get to meet him but I can't quite figure out how I got so lucky to have him as my grandpa.

He will never be forgotten. His stories, jokes, silly sayings and memories will last forever. Those of us who had the chance to know him will make sure of that by passing them down to all future generations. =)

Happy Birthday Grandpa! We'll have some chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream for you. =)
Just kidding...YUCK!!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!

He was, in my eyes, a true example of how a person should live, act, and love. When I find myself getting worked up over silly things, I constantly remind myself to try to act like Grandpa would.

Blaise was so little when he passed away, he was only 3, but when I speak of Grandpa, he always remembers how special he was.

And I think sometimes the only reason Jason married me was to be closer to Grandpa! hee hee. He speaks of him with such high regard. Not very many people know such an honorable person in real life.

We were the lucky ones.

I miss my grandpa. He was so amazing. He was just always so carefree and wouldn't worry about anything. And he was always thinking of others. I miss our trips to go get ice cream together. Do you think they have ice cream in heaven?
