PARK FUN

I had to go into Vegas, so Nick, Melanie and Mason rode along with me for the day. We took some time to stop at a nice park and get out and stretch.

Mason is so funny, he has one speed, RUN, he doesn't Walk. He also thought it was a blast to turn around in a circle until he got dizzy. Silly Boy!

Taking a break with Bama, even though we were in the shade, it was HOT!!!
Well over a 100 even in the shade. It was fun to watch Mason run around and explore though.

Thanks for the ride along guys, it made the trip much more enjoyable. Even though, Mason really doesn't enjoy the car ride so much. Sorry Bud.

MOMENTS & MEMORIES

We had a BLAST on our visit with the kids.

Blaise got the only strike of the game and earned him the nick name of "STRIKE".
Look at his form, that ball is heading straight down the alley.

Caiden's form is a bit different, but he was a natural bowler, he did awesome, which earned him the nick name "KING PIN" well actually he wanted it a different name so we compromised, he was officially called
"K.P. Farticus" (that kid cracks us up)

Avery was fearless, she marched up to that line and pushed that ball with all her might, then sang and danced while patiently waiting for her ball to reach the pins. She was ADORABLE.

The boys did some target practice

Hey, it's not just for the boys!!! GIRLS RULE!

Avery and Addison Rockin' their dance moves, they were so cute

Let's go racing.....................................................

We had tons of Moments, that will turn into fun Memories,

But . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I think the most Memorable Moment was this . . . . . . .

Zoolander
This boy just cracks me up
So let me share some back ground
info regarding these photo's.
No, he isn't trying out for next top model
You see, there were bumper boats at this arcade also, and when he saw the water for the boats, he started taking his shirt off so he could go swimming, see there is a perfectly good explanation.
Needless to say, he was less than amused when he was told he could not go swimming, and even less amused when all of us would not stop laughing at him standing in the middle of everything, dressed like that and striking what appeared to be the perfect model pose with just the right amount of model attitude.
Now, the best part though is when some random guy walks by, and notices Urban, does a complete double take, takes a couple more steps, turns completely around looks back at Urban and says "Hey, that's awesome dude, you stick with your style buddy, no matter what anyone else thinks".
It was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!!!
We have so much fun when we are hanging out with our Kids and Grand Kids, I only wish we were able to do it more often.

RANDOM THOUGHTS THURSDAY

Bangs, or no Bangs, that is the question?

I like the fashion of over sized rings!

Why do I care so much what other people think about me?

So excited, I should have a new great-Nephew today, YAY!

Why is it so hard for me to stick up for my self?

I have always been a person drawn to the color blue, I'm trying to break out and enjoy all the beautiful colors out there.

I'm in conflict about my own personal style; I love girly things, frilly things, romantic things, and yet at the same time, I love cool tennis shoes, I love jeans and a tee shirt, I love the surfer girl/beach look, I like the boho look. What to do, what to wear, what is my style, do I have a style, I want a style, I used to have a style, oh, man, inner conflict, brain overload.

My family is so AWESOME, I feel so blessed, I really love them.

I HATE being so indecisive, I'm really going to work on that. (Well, maybe, I'm not sure, what do you think, I can't decide, no I am, really, probably, for sure, maybe).

So excited, fingers crossed we will be heading to Utah on Tuesday. Woo Hoo!!!

I love to people watch.

Sometimes, I really MISS my Dad.

Well, those are some of the random thoughts rattling around in my head this week.

FINDING JOY WHERE YOU CAN

One of the things I wanted to change about my life this year was, learning to find joy in;
the everyday things, the simple things in life, the things that are all around me, you know finding the things that just make you SMILE!!!

I decided I would call it, Finding Joy Where You Can.

So yesterday, while we were in Vegas, I had to run to Walmart to buy the Hubster some pants he can work in, (they are cheap and are great for work).

Almost as soon as I pulled in the parking lot and turned down the first aisle, this little gem caught my attention, and I couldn't help but smile and I think something like "What the, Ha, ha, that's awesome", came out of my mouth. So I had to find a near by parking spot and grabbed my camera, walked over to the truck and started snapping pictures. Now I'm not sure which was getting more attention, the truck, or me walking around it with a big goofy grin on my face, laughing, and muttering to my self, this is hilarious, as I snapped these pictures.

This crazy mosaic art work covering every inch of this truck was done with bottle tops off different types of beer.

It's a bit hard to tell from this picture, but that is half of a glass beer bottle in the middle of the round medallion there on the door.

There is another one on the tailgate

and the other door,
most of the bottle caps had started rusting so their colors were disappearing.
Now, this was the Piece de Resistance!!!!

This was the hood!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See, you just can't help but smile, and giggle, while shaking your head.
Wishing you a Joyful day...............
